This original off-set poster was for the promotional campaign for The United Airlines and was distributed in 2004. The artist's quote above was used in the description printed on the back.
 
"The Airlines wanted a local artist to work on a poster for each location, and they actually called me for New York. But I had my vacation home on the Big Island at the time, so I told them that 'I can illustrate for both New York and Hawaii.' Well, they ended up commissioning me to work on only Hawaii. Oops!"
